"When I came to Leah Remeika-Dugan this year, I had severe pain and numbness down the whole of my right leg and foot, and I had a shaking tremor all in my body. It was so painful when walking and painful and energy draining when standing for long periods of time.
I did go to try and get help previously (nine years ago) when I was 60. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I was told that I probably also had arthritis of the spine. "After a hectic summer of revamping the garden I was left with backache, which spread down my right arm resulting in poor grip with my right hand. I was taking prescribed painkillers and constant use of the muscle relaxing cream, which I believe, without Dr Dugan's help, I would have been taking with little effect for months.
I could only sleep in a sitting position and was sleeping in the spare bedroom so as not to disturb my husband.
